ANTICIPATING THE 49TH BIRTHDAY OF A DEDICATED LEADER, HON. Frank Archibong

…IN JUST 9 DAYS TO COME

Frank Archibong @49: Cometh the man, Cometh a life of service

As we wind down to August 19, 2024, the Akwa Ibom State Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Hon Frank Archibong will clock 49 years on earth, but there are more to the man than the years.

Frank Archibong without mincing words, has lived beyond 49. His legacies, impart and impact, transcends 49 years.

He stands out as one of the most influential Akwa Ibomites to ever grace this earth. This is not a eulogy, but an uncontestable fact.

A man who commands influence among the youths, Elders, Traditional Rulers, Leaders and Elder Statesmen in the state and beyond, is a man of network and net worth.

Having traverse the Local Government system as a Transition Chairman, Executive Chairman, ALGON Chairman, and Commissioner, he has in his personal capacity invested in human capital than anyone could ever imagine.

Needless to tell you, that everyday, his house has been a Mecca to all sorts of persons, irrespective of race, gender, or religion.

I often hear people say, “You guys in Eket are very fortunate to have someone like Frank, we wish we had such a person in our Local Government Area.”

We are blessed beyond measures, to have this man in Eket. But beyond being an Eket son, he has extended his benevolence beyond the tides of Eket, and has made far reaching impact in the state a.d beyond.

There’s hardly anyone who has had contact with Frank Archibong that has not gone home with testimonies.

Frank Archibong has made education a top priority in his commitment to seeing Akwa Ibom people go to school.

There are people who are abroad today, schooling, by his sheer benevolence. Let me not even mention those in Nigerian Universities, because the numbers are immeasurable.

Dear Benefactor, Leader, Big Brother and Friend, as you clock 49 years, on August 19, this is me, once again, coming out publicly to say thank you for paying two years of my Master’s School Fees, and Four Years of my PhD school fees.

For the several opportunities you have provided for me and the shoulders you have given me to lean on, I’ll remain eternally grateful.

Thank you on behalf of others you’ve also given opportunities to, if you have more, you will always do more.

You carry enough grace, that will always take you beyond the imaginations of men.

You have offered genuine service to people and the state in general, and has delivered creditably in all assigned tasks.
No wonder you are nicknamed “Franko De Deliverer.”

We love you our dear Leader, and pray for God’s protection, good health, strength and more blessings upon you.

Gracious birthday in advance Sir, and may the oil of God upon your life never run dry.

Eneh John, PhD
